Abigail
Ross Goodman is the o
wner and executive director of the Judi
Rotenberg Gallery in Boston. After
graduating from
Brown
University in 1998, she
worked at
Saatchi and Saatchi and iVillage.com before returning to the
art world in
January of 2001. Abigail has held extensive
internships at the Addison
Gallery of American Art in
Andover
with Jock Reynolds
and at Barry Friedman Ltd., in NYC. Abigail currently serves
on the
board of the Boston Cyberarts Festival, the board of overseers at the
Institute of
Contemporary Art,
Boston and the
Danforth
Museum.
Kristen Dodge is director of
the Judi Rotenberg gallery and
has been developing an ambitious program and
national exposure with
Executive Director Abigail Ross. She graduated from
Brown
University in 2000 and
became the office manager at Cabinet Magazine, an art and culture
publication based in
Brooklyn. She has taught
art at the
Boston
Renaissance
Charter
School, and received a
Studio Art
Diploma from the School of the
Museum
of Fine
Arts in 2004. Dodge has
served as a juror
and guest speaker at institutions throughout New
England, including the
Attleboro
Museum, SMFA, and Montserrat
College
of Art. She is on the board of advisors at Artist for Humanity,
and the planning
committee for ARTcetera.
Jed Speare is an artist and arts manager working in a variety
of media and settings. He graduated with an MFA from Museum School/Tufts
University in 2005 and has been director of Studio Soto, a space for ideas,
since 2006. Initially trained in music composition, Jed has presented sound,
performance, video, installation, conceptual, and community-based works locally,
nationally, and internationally. In Boston, Jed has been known primarily as a
member of the Mobius Artists Group since 1995 and as the co-director and
director of Mobius from 1996 through 2004. For information

Drop-off of juried work: Monday, January 26, 10 am–5 pm in Anderson Auditorium Pick-up: Wednesday, January 28, 10 am–5 pm in Anderson Auditorium Three Dana Pond Awards are given, and recipients are automatically included in the "Student Annual Exhibition." Students who enter the Dana Pond Competition but do not receive an award may submit the same work for the "Student Annual Exhibition" jury. Student Annual Exhibition Submission guidelines: Up to three pieces of work, only two pieces in the same medium Drop off: Thursday, January 29, 10 am–5 pm in Anderson Auditorium Pick up: Monday, February 2, 10 am–5 pm in Anderson Auditorium All entries are considered for the Will and Elena Barnet Award (for formal elements of painting, composition, and the principles of structural design) and the Stella and Sumner Cooper Award (for work in metal, glass, and/or ceramics).
